RSA Member Awards The Roller Skating Association International recognizes and honors individuals in the roller skating industry for their various efforts and dedication by presenting a number of prestigious awards. Each year, fellow coaches and rink owners/operators nominate artistic, speed and hockey coaches for their contributions to the sports they generously teach throughout the country. We encourage you to nominate those you feel are deserving of this award.
This honor recognizes the SRSTA coach who serves as a steward to the roller skating industry while helping skaters develop roller skating skills. SRSTA coaches work in tandem with Roller Skating Association rink operators to encourage skaters’ participation and progression through the Learn to Skate Program and Roller Skating Achievement Program, both hallmarks of the RSA. Whether teaching introduction to skating, artistic, speed or hockey, we want to recognize the best in the industry. Many skaters elect to pursue Bronze, Silver and Gold through competitive skating with their SRSTA coach at their side. SRSTA Teacher of the Year Criteria“This award given annually to the individual member of the SRSTA who has contributed the most during the past year to the advancement of the principles of that organization and to the furthering of teaching skills of roller skating. It is awarded for an individual’s non-competitive contribution to the SRSTA.”

RSA Member Memorial Plaque Plate and Memorial Book Listing - $100: This option is available to RSA Members and includes both a memorial plaque plate and a page in the memorial book. (Information for book will need to be supplied separately and assembled by donor. This can include a photo and one page of written information. Any material submitted will be reviewed by the Honors Committee for appropriateness prior to inclusion to the book.) Friends and Family Memorial Plaque Plate - $100: This option is available to non-RSA members to memorialize friends or family of the roller skating industry.
Donation to the Roller Skating Foundation: The RSA will send an acknowledgement of the gift to the family memorialized. Please let us know where you would like this sent and the name/names to be used, as well as your information. Donate to the Foundation today!
