The SRSTA Teacher of the Year Award is a prestigious honor celebrating an outstanding roller skating teachers who goes above and beyond to inspire skaters and advance the sport. Presented annually by the RSA Honors Committee and the SRSTA, this award recognizes SRSTA coaches or teachers in artistic, hockey, and speed who embody excellence in teaching, mentorship, and dedication to the growth of roller skating.

• Serve as leaders and stewards of the roller skating industry.
• Help skaters develop their skills through programs like the Learn to Skate and Roller Skating Achievement Programs.

This award is given annually to SRSTA members who have contributed the most during the past year to advancing the principles of the organization and improving teaching skills in roller skating. It is awarded for non-competitive contributions to the SRSTA.
